Chapter 5 On the secret plan

"Hello Bella" Elara said on the phone

"Hello darling, it's been a while" Isabella said.

Elara nodded with an emotionless face.

"Whatsup girlfriend, how is Gokon? are you really okay?" Isabella asked.

Elara sighed.

"It's been a few days but alot has really happened. quite alot" Elara said.

"I think you should tell me, what's that alot is all about" Isabela said.

"My dad..Tyler,..i wish i never came back here girl" Elara said

"What about them? don't tell me that tall scumbag called Tyler is trying to show some interest after all he did you" Isabela said

Elara smiled, a smile that wasn't really a smile.

Elara explained all that took place at Tyler Gush's birthday and Isabela froze, her expression going blank.

A flicker of surprise danced in her eyes, quickly masked with a tight nod.

Isabela didn't know who to really judge.

She didn't quickly answer, but she sat there flailing her head on the screen, processing the silent between her and Elara her best friend, with everything she wasn't saying.

"And where was his b*tch?" Isabela asked, meaning Tyler's girlfriend.

Elara laughed her face lighting a bit.

"I heard his b*tch is outside the City for some movie production " Elara answered.

"Well, i hope you passed by a chemist, you know what i mean" Isabela said.

"Yes, yeah i can't afford to take risk for a second time" Elara said.

"Second time?..What..is there something I don't know about my bestie?" Isabela asked

Elara noticed that she was about to spill out her long buried secret. Elara immediately shrugged.

"It's, ..not,..no you know everything girlfriend, and whatever you don't know, I'll make it known to you" Elara said.

"My dad is acting so weired of late. Am feeling lost in my own home" Elara added immediately changing the topic.

"How?" Isabela asked

"Girl i don't know how to put it but he has been acting too indifferent to me" Elara said.

Isabela felt bad for her friend, she glanced at her wristwatch and then to Elara on her phone screen.

"Hey bestie am getting late, let's catch up after class" Isabela said.

"It's okay girl, we shall talk later" Elara sighed.

"Bye, take care" isabela said

"Bye bestie" Elara said waving at her.

Tyler Gush seated at his large black leather chair,with thick cushions that seemed very comfortable.

Tyler's office was at the 16th floor and the last floor of Gush company building.

He himself decided to move the CEO's office from the ground floor where it originally was, after female employees started to make it an habit to always hover around his office.

As usual, his office was the largest office, big and very impressive.

The huge windows on the wall showed off a stunning view of Gokon City, and with nice cozy velvet couches and a glass coffee table at each window.

The floor was made of Shiny marble that sparkles in the sunlight. On the left side of the CEO's desk, was a wall with neatly arranged books, and on the other side of the wall were different trophies showing the Company's success.

The entire office room screamed wealth.

Tyler was silently reflecting on the night with Elara.

He was on the whole flashback. He couldn't understand why his heart pounded faster whenever he thought of Elara.

He is a cold person and not the kind that get nervous over anything, thus making the feeling very unique.

"Knock knock " a sound came from his door.

This interepted his mind and and brought him to his senses.

"Come in" Tyler said.

It's Tyler's personal assistance Mr Gavin.

"Boss, I received a call from your secretary in the ground floor, it's Grandpa Gush" Gavin said.

"What about him" Tyler asked his eyes straight on Gavin.

"He's asking whether you are in the office, he need to see you" Gavin said.

"Let him in" Mr Tyler Gush said.

Grandpa Gush was at the ground floor with his driver, he wanted to know whether Tyler was around before taking an elevator rather than wasting his time to the sixteenth floor.

Since he handed over the management in the hands of his grandchild Tyler Gush, he is always at ease knowing that everything is running smoothly.

Grandpa Gush rarely knocks the door to Tyler's office.

He pushed the door open, entered and gave himself a seat.

"Good afternoon" Grandpa Gush greeted after making himself comfortable on a seat.

"Good afternoon grandpa, why are you here?" Tyler Gush asked, feeling something is not okay.

It's always rare for grandpa Gush to appear at the company building without a business meeting or a serious matter concerning the Company and he always inform Tyler.

Grandpa's eyes exuded anger and Tyler wondered what crime had he committed.

"What plans do you have about the wedding?" Grandpa Gush asked.

A moment of silence ran through the office .

"What,..which...whose wedding are you talking about grandpa?" Tyler asked confused.

Grandpa Gush sighed and leaned foward to Tyler's desk.

"Don't pretend to know nothing Tyler" Grandpa Gush said in a low voice.

Tyler was totally confused. He doesn't remember talking about wedding not even on his birthday while he was drunk, not to his mum Olivia or friends.

"Where is this coming from" Tyler thought.

"Bang"

Grandpa Gush slammed his fist on the desk, startling Tyler.

"Grandpa, I.. i don't, I think.. I'm not getting you" Tyler mumbled .

Grandpa Gush is the only person in the family who can tame Tyler Gush, not even his biological mother or father.

He has been known to be a fearless cold young billionare.

"Oooh, you don't know? is this how i raised you Tyler?" Grandpa Gush said in a stern voice.

This statement made Tyler's mind go totally blank.

Tyler Gush felt a rage, he was about to shout when he remembered this is the Old man he highly respect and held it back.

Tyler Gush stroke his beard thoughtfully.

"Didn't you sleep with Sebastian's daughter in one bed?" Grandpa Gush said .

Tyler gave an astonished face.

"Sebastian!" Tyler Gush exclaimed

"Yes, Sebastian Moore's daughter" Grandpa Gush said.

Tyler felt helpless on this, he became so furious by the whole matter.

"Elara that wh*re, did it again!" Tyler Gush cursed under his breath.

"What do you think" Grandpa said after studying Tyler's face full of untold emotion.

"Grandpa i can't do this" Tyler said

Grandpa Gush widened his eyes at that statement and held his chest.

"Hey! listen to me naughty boy, I won't keep quet and watch you kill me, then destroy our family name" Grandpa Gush said.

Tyler went silent wondering on what had happened to the old man for him to hold his chest.

"Tyler, you won't marry that Rosalie girl into my family. From now think of yourself as the son-in-law to the Sebastian Moore family" Grandpa Gush said slamming the desk.

Grandpa Gush leaned heavily on his walking stick, got into his feet and stepped out of Tyler Gush's office.

He opened the door to leave, before closing it, he turned to look at Tyler who seated quietly on his chair.

"Also note down, you will be a bridegroom in few days" Grandpa Gush said pointing his cane towards Tyler Gush and closed the door.

Gavin looked at the old man ranting inwardly. He was curious to know what was happening in his Bosse's office.

Sebastian seated with his daughter Elara at Check-in hotel.

Elara didn't know the reason her father brought her here, this made her curious.

Is it because she didn't sleep home that day?

Does he know what transpired between her and Tyler Gush that night?

Elara was in a state of intense.

A waitress came along carrying a bill of fare at her hand.

She handed one to Elara and the other to Mr Seb.

Elara and her father were enjoying their sandwiches, when she noticed her father face had lightened up unlike other days.

"Ela" Her father called.

Elara got surprised, his father used to call her Ela when she was a little girl, and here now again, what's behind all this abrupt change?

"Yes dad" Elara answered.

"As you know, before your mother got an accident, she used to be our human resource at the company. He sighed and continued. But since her illness, i haven't been able to figure out who will fit in that office" Sebastian said.

Elara kept quet glaring at her father who appeared emotional.

Mr Sebastian interlaced his fingers, and continued.

"Elara, i loved your mother, I still do to date. And that's the major reason, I find it very difficult to get her a replacement in that office. Sometimes it feels like am betraying my own wife. I can't imagine a total stranger sitting on Angelin's chair. I will never do that" Sebastian added.

Elara listened to her father and she felt mocked.

Elara slowly looked away and rolled her eyes at her father's chocking words.

So this man feels bad to replace mum in an office but he felt no guilt replacing her at their matrimonial bed? sounds funny dad.

"How can i help?" Elara asked.

"I need you to occupy that office, although you will be getting married soon, you can still work for our company from your husband's house" Sebastian said.

"Dad what do you mean by soon,..getting ...married to who?" Elara wondered.
