After a short private wedding at Potland hotel, Tyler Gush left.
Unlike other bridegroom, he didn't take any time to take Elara to honeymoon.
What should she do?
Elara wondered.
Do Tyler know that the woman from 5 years ago was her?
Does he know the Elara he has tied knot with bore his son?
Elara giggled and started swiping Fahez's pictures with a bittersweet reaction.
She missed him so much. How's she going to break the news to Tyler?
If Tyler knows the truth maybe he will leave Rosalie and focus on their marriage. Elara thought.
But Tyler is so much disgusted with her, if he knows the truth he will never touch her, and he possibly will believe that she is the one who planned the happenings on the night of his birthday.
But no matter what, she couldn't stay here! Especially with so many photos and videos of her lovely son stored in her phone.
Would Tyler suspect her with her postpartum strechmarks on her belly?
No, she couldn't let him find out!
But he promised to never touch her anyway.
Was there a back door here?
Elara didn't want anyonone notice and left, following the route of the emergency exit. Just as she took two steps, two men blocked her way.
She immediately felt weak in the knees, recognizing them as Tyler's bodyguards. At that moment, the hotel attedant carrying a tray of sliced fruits passed by. Elara stepped back and threw the tray at the bodyguards, making a loud noise.
Then she turned and ran!
"Chase her!"
Elara ran as fast as she could, darting into the hotel kitchen...
"No entry for unauthorized personnel!"
Elara thought to herself, I don't care! She ran to the back of the kitchen, where there was an exit. The chefs usually smoked and rested there.
After rushing out, she found herself in an alleyway.
Running deeper into the alley would only lead to a dead end. So Elara ran towards the main road, hoping to flag down a car and escape. However, it wasn't easy to catch a ride on the roadside.
The pursuer was hot on her heels. Elara desperately searched for a hiding place.
In her panic, she noticed a black Maybach parked on the other side of the road, like a beast lurking in the darkness.
Without hesitation, she ran over and hid on the other side of the car. Leaning against the car, she panted heavily. The car was all black, and she couldn't see anything inside, only her own disheveled figure.
Her phone rang suddenly, startling her.
"Isabella" Elara said.
She quickly answered it and peeked across the road, seeing the bodyguard still searching for her. She retreated back behind the car.
"Hello Elara, how is everything " Isabella
said.
"Bella, I'll call you back" Elara said in a low voice.
"Ela, is.. is everything okay"...
As she listened to her friend's words, she heard a faint sound behind her, the sound of a car window rolling down.
Elara froze and turned her head to look back. She saw the window slowly lowering, revealing a familiar man's face, his features gradually emerging from the dim light, still hauntingly captivating.
As Elara's gaze collided with his deep, brooding black eyes, her breath caught in her throat. She couldn't hear a word the person on the other end of the phone was saying.
"Ah!" Elara cried out in fear, taking a step back.
"Elara? What's wrong?" Bella's voice sounded urgent on the other end.
Elara quickly ended the call, stuffing her phone into her pants waist, before turning to run.
But before she could take another step, she was blocked by the approaching bodyguard. There was nowhere left to run.
The car door opened and Tyler Gush stepped out, his long legs carrying him towards her.
"Do you know how dangerous it is to run away from me?" Tyler's voice low and icy.
Elara turned around, panic setting in. "Why are you-"
Tyler's large hand clamped down on her face, pulling her close to him.
"Ah!" His grip was so tight it felt like he was crushing her bones. Elara gritted her teeth in pain.
"I thought this is what you wanted. Isn't it? a wedding? a family with Tyler Gush" Tyler said, his thin lips grazing her ear, and his black eyes glimming with a sinister light. "Elara"
His breath was hot against her skin, his voice like that of a demon, sending shivers down her spine. Elara's face turned pale.
Tyler grabbed her by the back of her neck, roughly throwing her into the car.
"Ah!" The car was spacious, but Elara still hit the floor hard. Tyler got in after her, slamming the door shut.
The car sped away and disappeared into the darkness, as if it was a premeditated kidnapping.
Elara looked out of the car window in panic and said, "Where are you taking me?Let me out!"
Tyler leaned forward, his imposing presence intimidating. He grabbed her chin and forced her to face him, his voice cold as usual. "Are you giving me orders?"
"No, no," Elara replied.
"You wanted a husband by carelessly throwing yourself into my bed. Aren't you happy now?" Tyler mocked.
"I..i bumped into your room by mistake, I'm sorry, release me today and i won't come back to Gokon City again, I swear!" Elara's body trembled despite her efforts to control it.
"Now you seem to be afraid of me," Tyler said letting a smile that wasn't really a smile,
lifting her chin like a wild beast playing with its trembling prey.
Elara didn't dare to say a word. Tyler was like a devilish madman, and the oppressive aura he exuded was even stronger than before.
Elara couldn't imagine anything evil happening to her, leaving her Fahez abroad with no one to call family.
The unknown fear overwhelmed her body and mind.
"Please, let me go. I will disappear from your sight and never come back. I beg you," Elara said, tears of fear in her eyes, her slender and beautiful neck tense.
She held her phone tightly at the side of her waist trying not to expose it to Tyler's eyes. It was as if the secret would be revealed if it was exposed to him and he might hunt Fahez.
Tyler's fingers on her chin rubbed gently, feeling the soft and tender skin. It was as if the scythe of the Grim Reaper was hanging over her neck.
"Since you've given in, you can't leave," Tyler said coldly, pushing her face away harshly.
Elara's tears were forced out as she choked out, "Please..."
Tyler lazily leaned back in his black chair, staring at the panicked girl with a dark, cold gaze.
The black Maybach tore through the night like a black panther, arriving at the private mansion in the heart of the city in just twenty minutes.
Elara remained seated on the car seat the entire time, anxiously watching as Tyler stepped out of the car with an imposing presence.
"Need me to help you out of the car?" he sneered, his tall figure looming in the darkness.
Elara looked at the open car door and hesitated, but then reached over and unlocked the door on the other side, avoiding the need to climb over to the other side.
It was the shortest distance for her to exit the car without having to crawl over.
She grabbed her phone and quickly shut the car door, immediately turning off her phone to avoid any calls from her friend Isabella or Fahez her son in the early morning hours in their home country. She was afraid that Tyler would find out!
But before she could turn off her phone, she had to unlock the screen. Her hands trembled as she entered the eight-digit password, but she made a mistake due to her haste and anxiety. She had to delete and re-enter the password...
Tyler walked around the car, his dark eyes like a hawk, and saw Elara frozen in place, looking panicked.
"What are you waiting for?" he asked.
Elara seemed to have just caught her breath. That was close... She looked towards the castle-like mansion next to her and asked, "I... I want to leave... I can stay at a hotel... Ah!"
Before she could finish her sentence, a dark figure attacked her, pinching the back of her neck. The force was so strong that she blacked out for a moment.
"It hurts... I can walk by myself, I can walk by myself..."
