Grant Vidal and his riders and freighters pulled up at the back of the Greenland"s Market. Melvin Haught was on the dock to greet them. “Welcome back. We were running a bit low on the cotton cloth. I hope you have several bolts of different colors.” Grant swung down from his horse and tied it to the railing before answering Melvin. “Yes, one of the wagons is loaded with cotton material.” He watched a look of relief sweep over Melvin"s face, and a smile slashed across his face. “Were you really that low?” Melvin nodded. “Yes, come on into the office and we"ll go over the bills of lading, and then share a drink.” He went through the double doors and Grant grabbed his saddle bags and followed.
