After our little lawyer game, Eros and I laughed together, the mood between us light and easy. The drive was long, really long. We even stopped at Jollibee and Greenwich because he said he wanted to bring extra food with us. I didn’t mind. It gave me time to just be with him quietly. I guessed we’d be home late; it felt like night was already coming. I didn’t ask anymore where we were going. Curiosity was there, but I trusted him enough to wait.
