Upon receiving the invitation from her grandma, Claudia hesitated at first before proceeding to call Nathan.
“Nathan, I got an invitation card for Grandma's birthday.”
“That's interesting. Did she drop any other message apart from the invitation?” Nathan inquired.
Claudia replied. “No, she didn't.”
“Alright then, so do you want to go?”
“Do you think I should?... I mean, this is sudden. This is the first invitation I've received since I became your wife.”
“She's trying to win you over.”
“I think so too, so do you think I should reject it?... I don't know, it just feels off for some reason.”
“Honestly, it's up to you,” Nathan remarked. “If you want to go, then that's fine, we can go together. If not, then there's no need to think about it.”
