Once the Ripley siblings finished their conversation, Vera returned to her dormitory while Nathan left to find where Claudia was.
He found her sitting on a bench on the field.
Noticing Nathan's arrival, she stood up and asked. “What did you say to Vera?... Hope you didn't scold her!?”
Nathan chuckled as he replied. “I didn't. I just told her that I'd be signing her up for self-defense classes so she can better defend herself.”
“Oh alright… I guess that's good. But don't you think that would interfere with her studies?”
“She can handle it,” Nathan said before adding with a hint of pride. “She's my little sister after all.”
Claudia didn't comment further as she knew that Nathan cared for Vera and wanted the best for her, so they wouldn't make any decisions that would impede her growth.
