Lucy felt a chill run down her spine as she had a frightening thought the moment she made eye contact with Nathan.
‘Could he be behind all of this?’
Almost like he heard her thought, Nathan spoke up, seemingly addressing no one in particular. “Some people aren't worthy of being alive while those who are arrogant will eventually be punished for their behavior.”
No one gave a response as they were all scared that the wrong statement could land them in hot water.
Claudia nudged Nathan with the latter chuckling while making a suggestion. “Why don't we get something to eat before we leave since we are already here?”
“That would be nice,” Claudia admitted.
At this point, it seemed like they were the only two remaining in the wedding hall with everyone else merely a spectator to their lives
