Georgia stepped forward and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. “You’ve been there for me every damn time I needed someone, May. You’ve picked up my calls at odd hours, held me together after every betrayal, and showed up even when I didn’t ask. This? This is nothing compared to what you’ve given me.”
May sniffled, laughing as she wiped at her eyes. “You really do know how to ruin a girl’s mascara.”
“I try.”
“Can I scream now?”
Georgia smirked. “I’d be disappointed if you didn’t.”
May squealed, throwing her arms around Georgia and squeezing her tightly. “You’re insane. Insane and rich. My two favorite things.”
They both laughed, the sound echoing through the open space.
“Can I drive it tonight?” May asked.
“Keys are already inside,” Georgia said with a wink.
