His towel clung to his hips like a dangerous promise. “Me being honest?” She opened her mouth, but he didn’t let her speak. He leaned in, not to kiss her, but to press his lips to the shell of her ear. “I remember the way you looked at me just now. Like you forgot everything else.” “I didn’t." she whispered. “I know what this is.” He pulled back just enough to look at her, his voice low and rough. “Then tell me what it is.” She didn’t answer
