“Damien?”
He sighed. “Bonnie came by.”
Georgia froze. “What?”
“She brought flowers.”
She blinked fast. “Wait… what do you mean she came by? Here? Into this room?”
He nodded. “Yeah. Walked in like nothing happened. I was here the whole time. She didn’t touch May or anything. Just placed the flowers by the table.”
“Where is she now?” Georgia asked sharply, already turning.
“I trashed the flowers,” Damien muttered. “She left a few minutes ago.”
Georgia didn’t say another word. She spun around and stormed out of the room.
