Chapter 7: A Strange Woman

1020 Words
"Oh, Wayne!" Scarlett's clothes and sexy underwear flew out the door, followed by the sound of heavy male breathing, feminine gasps, and the collision of bodies as they made love. The children slept soundly and didn't hear anything. After an hour, the sounds from the bathroom gradually stopped. Wayne emerged holding Scarlett in his arms. "Wayne, you're amazing. Thanks for giving me such an incredible first time." Scarlett looked even more beautiful when she was shy. "I hope you can walk normally when we leave tomorrow morning. Have a good rest, Scarlett." Wayne lowered his head and kissed Scarlett. Scarlett fell sleep lying meekly in Wayne's arms. Then Wayne checked his body. Oh no! His willpower was now at 250 and his s*******r count was 20/250! Behind his bangs, one side of the Star of David was illuminated! What happened?! Wait! I have to think! After killing the mutated zombie tiger, Wayne used his willpower to manipulate bullets to kill the seven Middle Easterners. That means he didn't use his willpower to kill the zombie dogs. If killing a zombie tiger was worth 100 points, then a human was only 10 points? That seems ridiculously low! Now, I've passed 200 s*******r points, and I'm at the 250 stage, which must be the first level of the Red Star of David. OK then! I hope my analysis is right! The next morning. Wayne carried all the food and fresh water to the car and handed Scarlett two pistols. "Do you know how to use them?" he asked. "They're fully loaded." Scarlett nodded and took the pistols. Wayne carried another two pistols and the remaining bullets, as well as his dagger in his boot.  With the children in the car, they set off following the map. The road was in terrible condition, with many sections blocked by collapsed buildings and wrecked cars, so they needed to take a detour.  There must have been something wrong with the car too, because it couldn't go faster than 15 miles an hour. It seemed they wouldn't reach the Empire State Building Safety Zone until dark.  But Wayne and Scarlett were quite content. After all, it was much safer than walking, and the car was solid.  "Are you okay?" Wayne looked Scarlett's gorgeous legs. She must have been in pain. "Oh, it's fine, Wayne. I don't know why, but it doesn't hurt at all." Scarlett was clearly shy about the topic. Wayne rubbed Scarlett's hands and continued to drive.  Garbages, abandoned cars and debris, and people's belongings were scattered everywhere. The men and children were mostly shot on roads and in cars, but many women died n***d, apparently having been brutally r***d before. Even more people were eaten or turned into zombies. It was dark and the air reeked. Weeds grew out of control along roads and disgusting scavengers scurried about, but fortunately, they hadn't encountered any zombies or mobs. At a section of the road crammed with abandoned vehicles, Wayne slowly brought the car to a stop.  "Scarlett, stay in the car with the kids. We're low on gas, so I'm going to go find some." "Be careful, Wayne. We can't afford to lose you." Wayne nodded. As he carefully observed his surroundings, he took tubes and a fuel can out of the car and turned to lock the car door. There were about 50 or 60 cars parked around him. One by one, Wayne pried off their gas caps to extract their fuel. Though most of the fuel tanks had been emptied by survivors, and food and water have been taken, some of the cars still had gas in the tanks. Wayne pumped out 2 gallons of fuel and found two 1.5-gallon bottles of fresh water. Wayne arrived at the last car, but just as he opened the door— *Grarr!!* A male zombie with broken legs came out, accompanied by a zombie dog with only rear half of its body. The zombie and the dog nearly bit Wayne's wrist. "Damn it!" Wayne stepped back. The zombie and the dog missed their mark and fell to the ground together, even as they still attempted to bite Wayne. The male zombie may have been a singer before, because it howled so loudly and bit so tenaciously that it was cracking the rocks on the ground with its teeth. Fearing that their struggle would draw trouble, Wayne hurriedly drew his dagger and stuck it into the zombie's head. He also shattered the head of the zombie dog with a kick, causing its smelly black blood and brain fluid to ooze out. A powerful wave of relief swept through Wayne as he quickly checked the car. The fuel tank was empty, but he found 7 American Spirit cigarettes and a box containing six Cuban cigars. What a rarity! Wayne hadn't seen one of these for a long time. Back at the Buick van with trophies, Wayne filled the gas and opened the door. "Scarlett, tell the kids to take a bathroom break." "Be quick, and have them stand a circle facing out to keep watch." "Got it, Wayne." Scarlett did as Wayne instructed. Suddenly, a middle-aged woman with a n***d upper body rushed out from the grass, her full breasts swaying as she ran. "Help! Help! Please help me!" "Wayne, come here!" Scarlett screamed. "Hurry up! Get in the car!" Wayne hastily pushed Scarlett and children into the car, closed the door, and turned back to draw a g*n targeting at the middle-aged woman. "Hey, you! Stop! You certainly have nice breasts, but listen up! Don't come any closer, or I'll shoot!" "No, sir! Please help me! Get me out of this awful place! Ahhhhh!" The middle-aged woman stopped and began to cry. "Who are you? Why are you here alone?!" Wayne didn't lower the gun." "Oh, Wayne. She's in such a sad state. Let her come with us. We have room." Scarlett shouted. "No, Scarlett, don't you think she's a little strange? She can't survive alone in a place like this!" Wayne said coldly. As soon as Wayne had spoken, Scarlett screamed out,"Look out, Wayne! Vines!!!"
