Lily's pov

i woke up in the arms of mr handsome and it felt nice, even though i just met the man and was sold to him i felt happy, and safe in his arms, so much that i actually pretended to be asleep so i can stay some more but eventually i got tired of pretending and had to "wake up"

"how was your sleep princess" he said as he noticed me wake up, i will not lie my cheeks where bright pink when he called me princess.

"Good, umm what's your name" i asked him, i know i should have been scared but for some strange reason i felt safe around him, it was like we have known each other our whole lives

"i will tell you later, for now lets get you something to eat" he said as he told the driver to go to a nearby fancy restaurant.

once we got seated i started asking him questions

"who are you?"

"i told you before i am your future husband"

"why did you buy me?"

"i never bought you, you parents gave me you, now do you have any other questions princess" he ask making my heart flutter

"just one" i said as my hands started shaking and my breath became unstable and i think he noticed because he held my hands

"calm down princess and take a deep breath okay no one will hurt you" he told me

"will you also whip me if i do something wrong or lock me in my room and starve me" i carefully asked because i did not want to get my hopes up of finally being loved only to have it crushed again.

he looked at me with a furious gaze and i thought he was mad at me so i quickly said

"i should not have asked, i'm sorry please don't be mad" i said and saw his gaze soften and he gently kissed my hands making me blush like crazy

"i'm sorry for scaring you princess, i am not mad at you, i was thinking about every thing you had to go through but i promise to never to hurt you"

we then finish our lunch and he took me to his house, wait no i mean mansion, scratch i mean a castle, this thing was bigger than my school and house compined and i was in aww, he then took me inside and if the outside was nice the inside was better, the walls were painted neatly with white paints, many beautiful paintings, a big tv, an indoor pool and massive rooms, i was starting to think how hard it would be to leave this place, and if i was worthy enough to live in this type of place but i was pulled out of my thoughts when i felt Lucas took my hands in his and led me to the hallway which had two rooms facing each other

"do you want to stay in my room or you want a room to yourself" he aksed sweetly

i wanted to sleep in his room as i hate sleeping alone but i could not because first i just met this man and should not trust him easily, second my nightmares would keep him awake and i could not make him go through that.

"my room please" i told him and saw him frown but he quickly hid it and showed me my room, i quickly placed my things and took a shower then went down stairs because i was starving i haven't eaten since last week cause my parents don't feed me and i did not have any money to buy lunch and i did not want my friends to know so i sucked it up, and the food at the resturant was not enough, anyways i went down staires and saw Lucas talking to the maids with a cold expression on his face, he looked nothing like the Lucas i met earlier, he looked scary, when he saw me, he facial expression changed again and resembled the man who i met before

"princess why are you down so early do you need something" he said in a soft tone making the maids shocked

" umm yes i am hungry" i said in a low tone feeling embarrassed knowing we ate before coming here.

"sure take a seat and i will serve you" he said as the shocked maids became super shocked

I mean who wouldn't, the most dangerous mafia talking sweetly as if he was talking to a child and now even offerring to serve her dinner

"no i can do it, i don't want to bother you" i reply already feeling guilty as it is

but he didn't respond, he just walked to me grab my hand and pulled me towards the dinning area to sit and just like he said he would he personally served me and made sure i finished my food and offered to watch a movie after, i finally was happy after all this years but the fear that this won't last for long made me not enjoy everything to the fullest, i went to bed happy for the first time but woke up to someone shaking me and i saw...
