Lily's pov

i woke up to someone shaking me and i turned to see Lucas with a worried look on his face and i instantly knew what was happening

"i'm sorry i never meant to wake you up" i said but he just kept on staring at me so i thought he was mad but that thought faded away when he pulled me into a hug

"are you alright" he asked in a worried tone

"yes i just had a bad dream, i said as i pulled away from him

" do you want to talk about it?"

"no"

"okay then go back to sleep" he said as he lay my head on my pillow and kissed my forhead before leaving, after he left i somehow manage to sleep. the next days i avoided him because i did not want to talk about it and seeing him made me feel more guilty.

its been a week and i hoped and prayed that he forgot about what happened and move on but nope, when i came down for breakfast, he was waiting for me at the dinning table to come join him which i did, at first it was akward but then he decided to talk

"what happened to you that night princess" he asked in a gentle tone

"it was just a bad dream" i replied

"do you often have those"

"No" i lied

"okay, then would you like to acompany me to work or stay here?" he asked trying to change the subject but i could tell he knew i was lying

"I will come with you" i replied, as much as i would like to stay home, i hate being alone and i want to have soms fresh free air.

we finished our breakfast, then i went to freshen up and i wore a long sleeve open neck blouse and a short pleated skirt that i found in my closet.

his company was huge and so fancy, it had series of offices and everyone there looked classy and i felt so out of place so i asked for the bathroom and ran there to get a little bit confidence but when i came back Lucas was no longer there, he just send me text telling to wait in his office, but it was my first time here and i don't know his office so i decided to ask the receptionist and i walked up to the lady who was still in her early twenties and had alot of makeup on.

"excuse me" i said as she faced me then eyed me from head to toe

"yes how many help you" she asked finally

"can you please show me the way to Lucas's office?"

" do u have an appointment with him"

"no, he told me to wait in his office but i don't know where it is"

"yes i am sure he did" she said in a scarcastic tone

"he really did"

"listen here b***h, you are not the first person to claim to know my fiance, now if you had a bit of decency you would leave right now and spare your self the shame" she said to me but the only thing i could process in was the part where she called lucas her fiance

"your his fiance, that's not true"

"yes it is we have been dating for 3years" she said and showed me a picture of them holding hands and kissing and that's when it all hit me he never loved me, he just wanted to use me, i should have seen this coming, the more i thought about tears started to form in my eyes but my thoughts were interrupted by a loud voice

"what is going on here?" i turned around to see a tall handsome man standing next to Lucas and i had just realized that people where staring at us. When he(lucas) saw the tears in my eyes , he ran towards me with a soft gaze

"sir, this lady..." the receptionist started talking but was cut off by him

"Princess what's wrong" he asked me in a gentle tone as he took my hands in his making every one shocked but this made me angry, how dare he call. me princess when he had another fiance

"whats wrong is you have another fiance yet promised to marry me, how could you, i thought you were different, you promised to protect me but you lied to me, i hate you" i said as i tried to yank my hand away fom his

"what are you talking about?" he asked as his gaze shifted to the receptionist

"what did you tell her" he asked in angry tone

"that is no way to talk to your fiance" even though i was upset i could not let him talk to her like that.

"my fiance?" he asked and then suddenly he laughed

"princess she is not my fiance, never has and never will " he said and turned to her "tell her the truth right now or your fired"

"i am not his fiance, i just said that cause i thought you were one of those girls who lie just to meet him, i'm sorry miss" she said as she bowed

"but the pictures..."

"they are all fake, Once again i am sorry" after hearing those words i felt guilty i just accused him infront of everyone, i just stood frozen as he dragged me to his office and the man from earlier followed

"i'm sorry" i said in a low voice but just enough for him to hear

"sorry for what princess" he asked with a confused expression

"i should not have believed her and accuse you without real evidence i just thought that it made sense to choose her because.... i am sorry" i said as i hung my head low

"let's go home" was all he said and he looked calm

"no no i want to bother you umm, you can work, i will go home by myself"

"why, don't you want to spend time with me?" he asked as he came closer leaving almost no space between us, i could feel his breath

"no i want to i just thought" i said but couldn't find the right words to finish

"thought what?" he asked as his came even closer as if he wanted to kiss me and i did not know if i should accept or reject the kiss if he did end up kissing me but that moment was ruined when we heard someone fake cough and only then did i realise that the man was still with us and i instantly turned red

"i should introduce myself, hi i am Ralf, the best friend to your fiance" he send extending his hand out and i gladly shook them.

"Ralf don't you have somewhere to be i and MY fiance have something to discuss" Lucas said as he emphasised on the word MY

"ahh yes i do have to go, it was nice meeting you miss..."

"Lilian but you can call me lily"

"ok nice meeting you lily" he said as he left and immediately he left Lucas came closer to me

"where were we?" he asked as he gently grab my waist making the butterflies in stomach to start dancing again

"i...i..i" i tried speaking but the words did not come out

"do you love me Princess, are you willing to be mine" he asked me all of a sudden

"i..i..i don't know" i finally said as a sigh left my mouth

"then do you want me to kiss you right now?" he asked slowly bringing he lips closser to mine as my heart started racing fast.

i know i was probabbly going to regret it but i said;

"yes" and he immediately attacked my lips with his and it felt like heaven the way our lips moved together was so incredible that i ended of moaning twice and when we stop to catch our breaths i wanted more

"let me ask again princess, do you like me ?" he asked while trying to catch hs breath

"i am sorry i still don't know" i said and it was the thruth even though the kiss was amazing i was not sure that it was love

"its ok i am willing to wait until you realise your feelings for me" he said as he gently gave me a peck, i swear this man was an angel and i was not still sure if i deserved him

The rest of the day went by and we stole glances at each other from time to time and i loved it, we went home and freshen up then went down stairs for dinner and while eating he said something that nearly made me choke

" Sleep with me tonight" he said casually like it was a normal thing

"WHAT????" i asked in shock
