Chapter 8

Ava's POV I woke up on Marcus’s huge bed with Damien’s arm still heavy across my chest and Lucas’s hand resting on my hip like he was scared I’d disappear if he let go. My body was a mess of bruises and sticky c*m, but I didn’t care. I felt wanted. I felt seen. The bullet on my pillow was still sitting there like a bad dream I couldn’t shake, but right now it felt far away. I turned my head and kissed Lucas’s shoulder first, then Damien’s. “Morning,” I whispered. “You two okay?” Damien cracked one eye open and grinned. “We’re better than okay. You were loud last night, baby. Marcus said you came so hard you made the bed shake.” Marcus woke up next and pulled me closer, his voice low and warm. “She did. And you took it like you were born for it. Good girl.” Lucas just smiled and kissed my forehead. “We’re not going anywhere. Sleep a little longer. We’ll wake you for lunch.” I nodded but didn’t want to leave. The four of us had fallen asleep tangled together after the threesome, and I loved how safe it felt. But the bullet was still on my mind. I slipped out of bed quiet as I could, found my phone on the floor, and checked it. No new messages. Just the rose and the note. I put it back down and went to the bathroom. I stood under the hot shower for a long time, trying to wash away the memories. My skin still tingled where Damien had choked me, where Lucas had tied me up, where Marcus had looked into my soul while he f****d me. When I came out, wrapped in a towel, the guys were gone. A note on the pillow said they were downstairs waiting. I dressed fast and went down. The dining room smelled like fresh coffee and bacon. Marcus was flipping eggs, Damien was scrolling on his phone with that wicked smirk, and Lucas was reading the paper like nothing was wrong. But I knew better. Everything was wrong now. I walked over and sat between them. “You guys are quiet today,” I said, stealing a piece of bacon. “After last night… I mean, after all of it. Are you okay?” Marcus turned and kissed me right there at the table, slow and deep. “We’re perfect. Better than perfect. You’re perfect.” Damien laughed and reached under the table to squeeze my thigh. “Speak for yourself. I’m still half-hard from thinking about your ass last night.” I felt my face heat up. “Stop. Someone could walk in.” Lucas looked up from the paper and gave me that calm stare. “Let him. They’re used to us. Besides, you loved every second of it.” I sipped my coffee and tried to change the subject. “I’m still thinking about the shipment. Derek’s call. What if it’s real? What if he’s really doing something bad?” Marcus set the pan down and sat next to me. “Then we handle it. But today we’re not thinking about that. Today is about you. About us.” Damien slid his chair closer and leaned in. “And about how we can get you alone. Right now. I’ve been thinking about it all morning.” I looked at him. “Alone? Like… really alone?” He grinned wider. “Rooftop. 3 a.m. No one goes up there except the staff for maintenance. I’ll take you up. We’ll have a little fun. Just you and me. No audience. Just us.” Lucas folded the paper and looked at me. “I’ll come too. I’ll watch. And if anything feels off, we leave. Marcus nodded. “Sounds good. But first you eat something. You’re too thin.” I laughed. “I’m fine. But okay. 3 a.m. Rooftop. Let me tell Derek I’m tired and going to bed early.” Damien kissed my cheek. “Smart girl. We’ll meet you at the stairs to the roof at two fifty-nine.” The rest of the day passed in a blur of nerves and excitement. I helped the staff with dinner, but my mind kept drifting to the roof. What would Damien do up there? Would he really choke me? Would Lucas really watch? I was both scared and so wet just thinking about it. At 2:55 I slipped out the back door in a light jacket and jeans. The night air was cool. I found the stairwell and climbed up. The rooftop was dark except for the city lights below. Damien was leaning against the AC unit, looking up at me. “There you are, beautiful. You made it.” I walked over and kissed him. “I did. But Lucas is coming too, right?” Damien shook his head. “He texted he’s busy with something else. Said he’ll watch from the window later. Just you and me tonight.” My stomach flipped. “Just you and me?” He took my hand and led me to the far corner, away from the glass walls. The wind was blowing, but the city was so far below it felt like we were on our own island. “Yeah. Just you and me. And I’m going to make you feel so f*****g good you forget your own name. I looked around. No cameras I could see. No guards. “You sure this is safe?” “Safer than the house,” he said, his voice low. He pulled me close and kissed me hard, his hands already under my jacket. “Now take your clothes off. Slowly. I want to see every inch.” I hesitated for half a second. Then I did it. Jacket first. Then shirt. Then jeans. I stood there in my bra and panties, the night air on my skin. Damien’s eyes went dark. “f**k, Ava. You’re gorgeous. Turn around. Slow.” I turned. He whistled low. “Perfect ass. Now bend over a little. Let me see how wet you are.” I bent over. He came behind me and slid his hand between my legs. “Already soaked. Good girl. I knew you would be.” He spun me around and kissed me again while he undressed. When he was naked he pushed me against the wall. “Hands above your head. Hold on to the AC unit. Don’t let go.” I did it. My wrists were up, my body pressed to the cold metal. Damien got on his knees in front of me and licked me slow. “Taste so f*****g good. You’re dripping down my chin already.” I moaned. “Damien… please…” “Please what?” He stood up, his c**k hard against my stomach. He wrapped one hand around my throat, not squeezing yet, just holding. “Like this? Feel how strong I am?” I nodded, breathing fast. “Yes… it feels good. Don’t stop.” He pushed me back against the wall again and slid into me in one smooth stroke. I gasped loud. “Oh my god… Damien…” He started moving, deep and hard. “That’s it. My good girl. Taking every inch. You love it, don’t you?” “Yes,” I moaned. “I love it. Harder.” He choked me lightly, just enough to make my eyes roll back. “Like this? You like when I choke you while I f**k you?” “Yes,” I gasped. “It feels so good. Don’t stop. Please.” He kept going, his hand tight around my throat, his hips slamming into me. The risk was insane. Anyone could come up here. But I didn’t care. It felt too good. He reached down and rubbed my c**t with his thumb. “Come for me, Ava. Let me feel you shake.” I came hard, my whole body shaking against the wall. He held me up the whole time, not letting me fall. When it was over he pulled out and kissed me soft. “You’re so f*****g beautiful when you come,” he whispered. “My good girl.” He led me to the edge of the roof and sat me on the ledge, still naked. The wind was blowing, but we were protected by the wall. He got on his knees again and ate me out while he fingered himself. I came a second time, moaning his name into the night. After that he took me again, this time from behind, still choking me lightly while he f****d me standing up. “You’re mine tonight,” he growled. “Every moan, every shake. You’re my good girl.” I came again, stars bursting behind my eyes. My voice was raw. “Damien… I’m yours. All yours.” He held me tight when we finished. “We’re not done yet. Let’s go inside and get you cleaned up. But tomorrow night we do this again.” We dressed slow, his hands on my body the whole time. At the door he kissed me one last time. “I love you already, you know that?” I smiled. “I love you too, stupid.” We went back down the stairs together. Lucas was waiting by the car, like he’d been there the whole time. He didn’t say anything, just opened the door for us. In the back seat Damien pulled me onto his lap and kissed me again. “See? I told you we’d have fun.” I leaned my head on his shoulder. “We did. But I’m tired now.” We dropped him off at his room first, then Lucas took me back to mine. When I got inside the bed was empty. Marcus was waiting in the shadows. “How was it?” he asked, voice soft. “Intense,” I said. “But good. Dangerous good.” He smiled. “I knew it would be. Come here.” We fell asleep like that, his arms around me, the bullet and the text waiting somewhere in the back of my mind. The next morning I woke up and reached for my phone. A text was waiting from an unknown number. I opened it. There it was. A photo of Derek f*****g that same blonde from the night he caught me. The caption read: “He’s still f*****g around. You deserve better.” My stomach dropped. I stared at the screen, hands shaking. This was real. This was happening now. And I didn’t know who to trust anymore.
