Chapter 10

Ava's POV I stood in the doorway of Derek’s office, phone still clutched in my hand, and the words hit me like a slap. “The boys will take care of her… or break her.” My heart slammed so hard I felt dizzy. Marcus was going to burn Derek’s empire for me. For us. And now Derek was already talking about breaking me. I didn’t know who to believe anymore. My knees felt weak. I backed away from the door, breathing fast, and almost ran straight into Marcus. He caught me before I fell, his arms strong around my waist. “Ava? What’s wrong? You’re shaking.” I looked up at him, tears in my eyes. “He… he said the boys will take care of her or break her. Marcus, he’s talking about me. What if he finds out about us?” Marcus’s face went hard. His jaw tightened. “Then he won’t. Not while I’m alive.” He pulled me closer, kissing my forehead. “I meant what I said last night. I’m burning his empire. For you. We’ll figure it out.” Damien appeared at the other end of the hallway, eyes wide. “What’s going on? You two look like you saw a ghost.” Lucas stepped out of Marcus’s suite right behind him, calm as ever. “What happened?” I told them everything, my voice cracking. “He’s on the phone. He’s going to break me. Or the boys. I don’t know who the boys are yet.” Marcus pulled out his phone and called someone. “Meet me at the back gate. Now.” Then he looked at me. “Stay inside. Lock every door. We’re not leaving you alone for a second.” We all ran upstairs. The house felt too big suddenly. Every shadow looked like a threat. I locked my door, but my hands wouldn’t stop shaking. Damien sat beside me on the bed, rubbing my back. “Hey, beautiful. You’re safe with us. I promise.” Lucas paced the floor. “He’s already moving. We have to get you out of here.” Marcus came back in, phone to his ear. “The shipment’s moving early. They’re hitting the mansion tonight. Get the boys ready.” I sat there listening, the words sinking in. “Tonight? They’re coming here?” Damien nodded. “Yeah. Rivals. Drug crew. They want what Derek has. And they want to send a message.” My stomach dropped. “So what do we do?” Marcus looked at me, eyes burning with that same vow from last night. “We protect you. That’s what we do. All three of us. Together.” The next hour was chaos. I watched from the window while the three of them moved like they were born for this. Marcus grabbed every gun he could find and loaded them on the table. Damien taped up windows and set up a tripwire across the back garden. Lucas disappeared for five minutes and came back with a whole arsenal, his face calm like he’d done this a hundred times. “Stay in the room,” Marcus told me. “We’ll handle it.” I didn’t want to stay. I grabbed my phone and went with them. “I’m not sitting in there while you fight.” Damien tried to pull me back. “Ava, please. It’s not safe.” Lucas stopped me at the stairs. “You need to stay with us. But if you have to help, you do what we say. Okay?” I nodded. My heart was in my throat. The first crash came at 11:47 p.m. Shouts outside the gate. Then the glass broke. A guy in a black hoodie jumped the fence, gun drawn. Damien was ready. He fired once, clean shot to the shoulder. The man dropped. Marcus kicked the door open and tackled the second guy who came through the window. He broke the guy’s arm with one twist and slammed him face-first into the floor. I stood there frozen, watching. “Oh my god…” Lucas didn’t even look scared. He dragged the third guy out by his hair. “Tie him up. Use the rope from the shed.” They moved fast. Terrifying fast. No yelling. No mistakes. Marcus had the first guy zip-tied and gagged before the guy even woke up. Damien kicked the second one unconscious. Lucas checked every inch of the perimeter like he’d planned this for years. I realized it then. I needed them. Not just for the s*x. Not just for the warmth. I needed them to keep me alive. My hands were shaking so hard I couldn’t stop them. “You guys… you’re really good at this.” Marcus wiped blood off his knuckles and pulled me into his arms. “We are. Because you matter. And we’re not losing you.” Damien hugged me from the other side. “You’re safe now. We’ve got you.” Lucas kissed my temple. “Always.” The sirens started a minute later. Police. Marcus looked at me and smiled. “See? We got here first. Thank God.” The three of them took the tied-up men out the back way and loaded them into a van. I stayed in the hallway, heart still racing, watching them work like a team. When they came back, all three were covered in sweat and blood, but they looked at me like I was the only thing that mattered. Marcus pulled me into the big bedroom we’d claimed as ours. “Come here, beautiful. Let us take care of you now.” Damien locked the door. “Sirens are still going. They’ll be here in a minute. We’ve got time.” Lucas was already stripping me slow, his eyes never leaving mine. “You did good today. You were brave. We need you to be brave for us.” I was naked in seconds. Marcus laid me on the bed and crawled over me. “I want to worship you. Right now. While the whole world is outside.” Damien got on the other side, kissing my neck. “You’re ours. Say it again.” I moaned softly. “I’m yours. All of you. Please…” Lucas tied my wrists with the same leather belt from before, but this time he left it loose enough that I could still move if I needed to. He slid into me first, deep and slow, staring into my eyes the whole time. “Feel how wet you are for us? You needed this. You needed us to keep you safe.” Damien pushed into my mouth, groaning low. “That’s my good girl. Taking us both. You’re perfect.” Marcus kissed every inch he could reach my breasts, my stomach, my thighs while he was buried deep in me. “You’re safe. You’re loved. You’re ours.” He thrust slow and deep, kissing me between every stroke. “I’m never letting you go. Not for anything.” They moved together like they’d done it a hundred times. Marcus in my p***y, Damien in my mouth, Lucas in my ass. I came so hard my vision went white. Stars burst behind my eyes. “Oh my god… I’m coming… I’m coming so hard…” Damien pulled out of my mouth just long enough to growl, “That’s it. Come for us, baby. We got you.” Marcus kissed me through my orgasm, whispering, “I love you. I love you so much.” Lucas stayed deep, looking straight into my soul. “You’re safe. You’re loved. You’re ours forever.” They kept going. Slow. Worshipful. Every thrust was full of meaning. I came three more times, body shaking between them. My voice was hoarse when I finally whispered, “I need you. I need all of you. Don’t ever let me go.” They finished together, groaning my name. Marcus pulled out and kissed my forehead. “You’re ours. Always.” We lay there tangled and covered in sweat and c*m, the sirens still blaring outside in the distance. My heart was full. My body was full. And for the first time I really understood. I needed them. Not just for the heat. For everything. The threat was gone. But the real fight was just starting. And I was ready to fight for them.
