Jaxon was silent as he drove me home. He might still be annoyed at what happened earlier with Evan and I didn’t want to piss him more so I just kept my mouth shut as well. He took the turn to our house and I saw that we just entered our gate. He stopped the car and I immediately went out and so did he. I don’t know what will happen after tonight but all I know is that he doesn’t want to let me in on what just happened there. He completely shut me off but that’s fine. If that is the way he wants us to go, then so be it. I won’t ask him questions and I won’t bug him. It’s up to him whether he’ll tell me or not.
“Thanks for tonight,” I said and was about to turn my back on him when I heard Aki from behind. Oh, not now.
