I was glad that I hid my puffy eyes a bit by using make-up. Aki and I were already on the way to the office when he broke the silence. Mom wasn't around for breakfast because she had to do something with a friend that early morning.
"What happened to you yesterday?" Aki glanced at me. Why was he asking me that? "Your eyes are puffy. Did you cry last night? Is that why you didn't let me in when I knocked?" His questions kept on coming and I didn't know how to respond.
"N-No," I tried to deny it but I sighed when I saw his judging eyes. He already busted me so there would be no use in denying it.
"What's up with you?" He asked again as we were around the city already.
"I just had a bad day, that's all. Everyone does," I breathed out heavily.
"Why? Don't you want to tell me?" He was
