AARON POV Twenty-four hours. An entire day, and still nothing. Amber and Vic had vanished into thin air, and the weight of their absence pressed down on me like a thousand-ton boulder. My wolf paced relentlessly in my mind, snarling, restless, his frustration and rage bleeding into me with every passing second. The last time anyone had seen them, they were shopping at the pack mall. That was it—just a regular outing, no signs of trouble, no warnings. Alan had gone through every second of security footage personally, combing through the camera feeds like his life depended on it. And maybe it did—our lives did. But all he found was thirty minutes of darkness. A black hole where the girls should have been. The system had been shut down while they were inside a boutique. Deliberately.
