“I…” My voice faltered as they closed in, their presence overwhelming in the best way. Before I could say anything else, Alan took my hand, his grin playful yet determined.
“Come with us,” he said, tugging me gently to my feet.
“Where?” I asked, though Autumn hummed her approval through our bond.
“You’ll see,” Aaron replied, a mischievous glint in his golden-brown eyes. Alek said nothing, but the intensity in his gaze made my skin tingle.
They led me through the cottage to a spacious bathroom that I hadn’t noticed earlier. My breath caught when I saw it: an enormous bathtub carved from smooth stone, big enough to fit all of us comfortably. Warm water was already filling it, steam rising in delicate wisps, and the scent of lavender and eucalyptus hung in the air.
