Chapter 3: What to Look for in a ButlerThis is getting sticky.
Ever since that day with the maid-in-training, I’ve been talking to him. Not only that, but I’ve been touching him, which I’ve already explained is not very professional of me. I can’t stop myself, it’s like an illness. And I’ve been spending far too long staring at him in the mornings—I’ve started waking up earlier so that I have time to sit in his armchair and watch him sleep. I think I’m obsessed. Do I count as a stalker if he knows that I live in his house and have control over every aspect of his life? Though, I suppose, this doesn’t count if he is unaware that I watch him every morning before he wakes.
I can’t explain why I like it so much. It’s not like he looks that much different awake than he does when he’s asleep.
