Chapter 4: Laundry ServiceI dress Mr. Montgomery every day for two weeks. Every. Day. For two. Weeks. He’s like my own personal dress-up doll. I’ve bought him new shirts and cufflinks, and even a little organizer so that he doesn’t lose them anymore. I feel like he likes it. I’m not sure which part exactly—the tie fastening, the collar straightening, the fact that I get on my knees in front of him every morning—it could be a combination of all of these things or none of them at all. Maybe he is just glad he doesn’t have to do it on his own anymore. What I really want to do is fix his bloody hair. I’ve finally gotten control of his clothes, but the hair…the hair.
