Chapter 16: Lemon and SaltI don’t know if he’s doing it on purpose, but I’ve never been angrier at someone in my entire life. That includes a few months ago when I thought Jaime had been pouting over the fact that I had shown a slight rejection towards him (back when I thought he was shagging all the people who walked through his office door, which I no longer think is true). I’m so f*****g angry, and yet I have never in my life been a better butler than I have in this past week and a half.
I am the vision of professionalism: productive, timely, and efficient. Jaime has never looked better. His needs have been attended to with the utmost care, and I haven’t crept into his room to watch him sleep in weeks.
But, I’m losing my goddamn mind.
