Weekened Away

"He's the thorn in my flesh, I can't pull out..." -Pixie Lott, Broken Arrow  Time seemed to have slowed down.  Or maybe it just seemed slow because Sophia was constantly watching the clock.  But Sophia couldn't help it. This weekend, she would be spending time with Silas. She had already called her mom and Amaya, who both encouraged her to do so hearing the excited girl squealing about it for three days straight with a smile to rival the joker.  Topaz had been just as eager for her appending weekend with Silas. On Friday morning when they woke up for an early morning wake and bake, she had boldly asked, "You two gonna bang?"  Sophia hadn't thought about having s*x with Silas this weekend. They still had mud to get out of the way, and yes while he was her mate she wasn't sure she ready for the plunge just yet. "No, maybe some other stuff. But I'm not ready, not yet anyway. What about you?"  Topaz blushed and slowly nodded, "My mom will be in the Kongo Realm meeting a new bride who needs a dress, I'll have the place to myself. I'm a little nervous." Sophia looked at Topaz worriedly, "But you want to?" Topaz hummed thinking of Charlie, "Yeah."  Sophia smiled widely, "Fire message me, the minute you can! I want all the details!" Topaz grinned and agreed immediately.  The day was spent with both girls silently rushing the clock to tick by faster. When Sophia thought she'd die if she didn't get out of class, they were dismissed. Putting her stuff in her bag, Sophia walked out of her class and into the hallways.  Heading to her dorm, she stopped hearing her name. Seeing Ezra approaching her, Sophia frowned wanting to know why he was suddenly wanting to talk to her.  He'd been ignoring her purposely like the plague since he assumed such awful things about her. Sophia had felt it best to just let him assume them because she didn't see what difference it would make if she tried to clear her image.  It wouldn't change how he felt about her, and how she didn't feel about him.  Besides she wasn't sure she was willing to believe just because he was hurting Ezra was willing to say whatever he wanted to make himself feel better.  When Ezra came over to her he looked at her sheepishly and admitted, "I was an ass. I heard that the chosen mating rumor was false and that you two are mated. I was just hurting Sophia and reacted irrationally."  Sophia forced herself not to roll her eyes, "Yeah I totally get it. But my problem right now being that you've known me for almost six years and just because you didn't get your way you called me out of my name. You thought and said the worst of me and you were supposed to be my friend."  Sophia exhaled annoyed just thinking of it. And that was NOT the energy she was going to go see her mate with.  "Look right now, I don't want to be your friend, because what you did, wasn't cool. You basically threw shots at me and my mate because I didn't feel the same about you. " Ezra looked at Sophia wide-eyed, "Can't you give me an asshat pass? Curse me, spell me, prank me...I just want us to be friends again." "I'll maul over it on the weekend.  So until then...Bye." Sophia walked away making Ezra huff in frustration, he kept f*****g up with her.  If he couldn't be her boyfriend, he still had wanted to be her friend. Which he was pretty sure he had ruined.  When Sophia got to her room she whistled seeing Topaz in a lace mint green baby doll dress. It curved to her body while pushing up her breast and making her ass look enticing in her lace mint green boy shorts.  "Nice." She complimented as Topaz looked at her worriedly, "Are you sure? I just want everything to be...perfect. I want to be perfect." Sophia pulled her worried friend out of the mirror, "You could wear a potato sack and be perfect Topaz. Besides, I'm pretty sure Christopher is going to rip this off you the minute he sees you."  Topaz laughed and then asked, "Can we smoke one before we hit the road?" Sophia immediately rolled a fattie and lit it while Topaz finished packing and got dressed in jeans and a nice shirt. "So when is he coming over?"  Topaz sighed, "Um after he goes to see his dad, he said he'd be over. He doesn't know it but he's spending the entire weekend with me."  Sophia ooh'd as she passed her joint and watched Topaz flop down and look at her amused, "So you and Silas are going to just snuggle and mess around?"  Sophia laughed, "Yes, I just met him and even though I really like him, I'm not ready. But of course, there's only so many weeks in the month."  Topaz laughed and soon the two of them were jumping through portals to their destinations. When Sophia was jumping through her protal, she saw Ezra had been coming into their room until he noticed them just leaving.  When Sophia went into the dimension in between nothing but space and time, she found her mate with her body and went to him.  Silas smiled as Sophia appeared in his front yard and then grew excited seeing him. "Baby!" She squealed jumping into his arms. Kissing Silas like she hadn't seen him in years, Sophia jumped when someone coughed. Pulling back, Sophia smiled at his friends, "Hi!" She greeted a little nervous.  Both attractive young wolves grinned at her, and greeted her back with smiles. "Hi, I'm Beta Maverick, and this is Third in Command Trent." The black-haired, grey-eyed boy told her smiling. "Hi, I'm Sophia."  Both of them laughed, "Oh we know! That wolf beside you wouldn't let us forget!" Sophia blushed as Silas growled a little, "Shut up you two." Pulling his mate in, Silas put her things in the guest room. He hadn't wanted her sleeping away from him, but he also hadn't wanted to pressure his mate.  When she got settled, he went into the kitchen making lunch for them before they talked. Silas looked up from cutting up tomatoes and saw Sophia staring at him blushing. "Whatever you're thinking about," He warned his eyes glowing brighter by the second, "Stop it or I'll make it come true."   Sophia started to wish he would when his friends walked in laughing.  When they all sat down and began to enjoy the delicious pastas Silas had made, Sophia brazenly asked, "So your father tried to make you mate with someone else?" Silas nodded and looked at his mate with honest eyes, "I didn't want to. He was basically forcing her down my throat for the stupidest reason. I mean no one these days has a pure bloodline of anything. But he was furious when he found out I had ignored his order to reject you. I couldn't do it, Sophia. It wasn't an option to reject you."  Sophia looked up at her mate with doe eyes as she whispered, "Glad to hear it."  Maverick gagged, "You two! Would you stop rubbing the freaking salt and lemon all in the single wounds?"  Trent shouted his amen the beta making Silas and Sophia blush. Turning to her mate Sophia hesitantly asked, "So that she-wolf you were with the first day we met. She's the one your dad wants you mated with?"  Silas rolled his eyes, "Rachel. Ye,s she is." Sophia coughed looking down, "Did you not like her at all?"  Before Silas could answer Trent supplied the answer, "Luna you don't have to worry about Silas ever wanting anyone else, or ever wanting that bitch." Maverick nodded in agreement, "Never kissed her or let her do a damn thing. Probably out of fear she would give him so new unheard of disease."  Sophia looked at Silas who put his hand on her knee and admitted, "She wasn't loyal. Her father has offered her up to anyone with a status, and she's done all sorts of tricks and flips for them. But when they found their true mates, they always left her."  Sophia shook her head, "Why sign herself up for that? Why not find hers?" Silas had asked the same question a thousand times,"I don't know baby. If he was older he could have died, or he could have rejected her. Or hell she could have rejected him. There's no way of knowing at this point."  After finishing dinner, the four of them sat outside in the back by the fire pit. Sophia cuddled up into Silas' arms and he kissed her head gently. "You have to fight your father...to become alpha right?" Silas nodded, "Yeah."  Sophia held her mate tighter, "I'll be there."  Silas looked down into his mate's eyes as she whispered, "I'll be there to cheer you on when you win. Alpha Silas."  Smiling Silas kissed his mate happily making his friends awkwardly drift off.  Sophia blushed as she looked down embarrassed, "I don't want to go too fast Silas." Silas grinned and grabbed her chin making her look up at him, "Not to worry my love, I'm more than okay with waiting."  Sophia looked up at him through his lashes and whispered, "Are you a...?" Silas nodded a blush stealing his cheeks. "My dad thought it was weak, that I didn't...sow my oats. But I liked the idea of us being us together for the first time, as the first time for the both of us."  Sophia grinned and then admitted, "I like the sound of that. But that doesn't mean we can't cuddle tonight though..." Silas grinned at the subtle offer and whispered, "Well then I guess we better move you into my room then."  Both mates smiled in the firelight, under the stars, and as gravity pushed them together, neither knew just how much their universe had been forever changed.
