Maria should have gone to bed feeling like a princess; she was in a castle after all. And sure, there were a couple of things that fairytales forgot to mention about castles, like the fact that there was no central heating or air. Additionally, in Maria's case, the room she was staying in appeared to have not been used in decades. The thick layer of dust on the nightstand was a complete contrast to the fresh sheets someone had kindly laid out for her. Two armchairs across from the bed were both covered in heavy quilts, holding the appearance that the last time they'd been sat in was centuries ago. At least the floor in the room was carpeted and the lighting was nice, with golden fixtures on either side of her bed and a large window to her left. Her view overlooked the tired Kingdom city,
