We were curled up in bed when Jax returned home and pulled off his jacket. He tossed it onto the ground, and I noticed Koda frown in annoyance. When we first moved in together, I remember Jax telling me that Koda was a neat freak, and that was very true. He always got an annoyed look whenever he noticed something was out of place.
''I let mom and dad know everything,'' He said, and kicked off his shoes ''Dad wants us there when we interrogate him tomorrow''
''Okay,'' I said quickly, but both men laughed.
''Keep dreaming,'' Jax told me, and I sighed dramatically.
''I'm not some fragile child!'' I complained, as Jax climbed into bed beside me ''I can handle''
