''Do I really have to go?'' Madelyn asked in the elevator as we rode up to the throne room
'I'm afraid so sweetheart' I kissed her hand 'You're marked now so it's time to start pulling your weight'
Madelyn' giggled 'But I don't know anything about running a pack, least of all an entire Kingdom'
'You'll learn' Koda told her patiently 'We've set up teachers to train you, plus our mother and grandmother will help you'
'Your grandmother?' She asekd nervously
'Don't worry baby' Koda pulled me into his arms and I smiled to myself when she blushed at his proximity 'Now that you're marked, our granmother won't hurt you, I promise, she'll be on her best behaviour'
