JAXSON'S POV
When the sun began to rise, my mental state was extremely unstable, we hadn't stopped in hours. I'd forced Noland to stop and shift back nine times, to check that Madelyn was still in these woods, but I was losing faith in him. We'd searched more the 3/4th of this forest, and other than her hairpin, we hadn't found anything else. There were no signs of her.
''Jax, we need to'' Cody had shifted, and drinking some water that one of the new guards had brought when we swapped over the search party, when Troys voice filled my head.
