MADELYN'S POV
I hated that the sun would be up in an hour, the moment I saw it raise, I knew I'd be sent away. I hated this, I didn't want to go.
I saw sitting in the door of the tent hugging my knees as I watched the sun moving slowly up over the mountains, while my mates slept in th
eir beds.
''Maddie?'' I heard Koda said sleepily, and I turned to look at him ''What are you doing? Come back to bed''
I got up and closed the tent's door, before climbing back on the cot in between my mates, and pulled up the blanket to warm up again, as Koda ran his fingers down my cheek.
''Can't you sleep?''
I shook my head, as I looked into his eyes.
''Did you have a bad dream? Or are you just upset about leaving?''
