JAXSON'S POV
Lunch and the rest of the day felt a little awkward. I was feeling really guilty for yelling at Madelyn, and losing my temper, but all of these revelations were messing with me.
She was dreaming about another man, a man she might share a special personal connection with, and that man was someone I didn't trust. If he was her Keeper, he'd left her in hell, and she couldn't just expect myself and Koda to just move on and forgive him, because she was to damn forgiving for her own good.
After lunch, Madelyn went back to her office to do her first official Luna duty. Our mother had sent her a task to do before the evening, and despite her upset mood, she was taking it very seriously, and took off to go prove herself.
