I reached over to snuggle into Jaxson's arms like every night, but my hands came up empty. I looked around the room, and saw that it was around 10pm. Koda was behind me snoring lightly. We must have fallen asleep after our talk, which made me smile. He'd wake up starving tomorrow from missing dinner and be grumpy all morning until he ate something.
I carefully extracted myself from my mate's arms, and pulled on Jaxson's robe to be covered in his scent. Where was he? Why wasn't he in bed?
