MADELYN'S POV
There was a soft knock on my office door, and I turned to see it open slightly, but no one entered.
"Excuse me, Luna" One of the guards, Charley, spoke through the crack in the door "Beta Ryker, is here to see you. May I let him in?"
I looked at Evelyn, who seemed annoyed, and crossed her arms.
"Um.. I guess so" I stood up, and straightened my dress, as he walked in, wearing a dark blue suit, and looking very tired.
"Luna" He bowed his head, as he came over to me, wearing his usual dark suit "I am hoping for a moment of your time, Evelyn. Wait outside, thank you"
"Yes, sir" She said politely, though I detected a slight edge of annoyance.
Once she left the room, and the door closed, and Ryker smiled at me, but I didn't return it. I'd never forgive this man for breaking
