MADELYN'S POV
I picked up all the books, and started shaking them out. If there was a note, surely it would fall out, Noland couldn't have left me a note though, only my Keeper had left me notes, and he couldn't be my keeper.... Could he?
I was onto the third book when a small folded note fell out onto the table, and I froze in shock, Councilor Jordan had seen right, Noland had slipped a note into my book.
Had he purposely knocked into me, I tried to remember everything that had happened that day, and I suspected that Noland had purposely pushed Beta Cole's hand towards my face, he'd wanted him to cut me.
I nervously picked up the note, and unfolded it.
''Madelyn'' It read ''You are in danger, Fenrir has sent someone into your life to spy on you. Do not trust anyone besides your mates
