I hated leaving Maddie alone, especially now that my uncle was free but I took solice in the fact that Evet was by her side.
Evets guards would die to protect both girls and Evets herself was an amazing fighter so I felt a little more at ease about the whole situation.
After this mornings meeting which was longer then usual, Jax and I went to the arena to oversee the fighters and frankly I was glad to get away from my father.
He was tense and irritable throughout the entire meeting, yelling and snapping at everyone except our mother, though after 100 years of marriage this yr, he knew better then to cross her.
