MADELYN'S POV
I'd insisted on doing my fight training on Saturday morning. It had been a few days since my abduction, and I was fully healed, though I was still having a lot of nightmares, but otherwise, I was feeling like myself again.
The twins, however, were treating me like a baby bird in a nest, that needed mothering 24/7, and I haven't had a moment alone since my outburst about not wanting to be alone, the irony of it all. If I'd known they were going to take it to heart, I'd have kept my feelings to myself.
The only time's I'd convinced them to leave me alone, was to shower. I knew they'd seen my back, but I was feeling very self-conscious, and didn't want them to see me naked. Fortunately, they were being patient, and were giving me the space to come to terms with my new scars.
