My head was stinging when I slowly woke up from a strange dream about a fairy chasing me through the woods, because I stole her candy.
Where am I? Am I in the hospital? I cleared my throat and looked up at Jax beside me, who was snoring softly with his arm over his face, and I smiled to myself. He was always talking about Koda snoring, but he did too.
I slowly sat up, and realized I was in a hospital gown, blushing red. I hoped Jax was the one who'd changed my clothing.
Jax moaned, and rolled over, placing his arm over my lap, and snuggled closer to me, as my memories came back.
