I groggily woke up feeling cold, the silk sheets that were usually heated by my mate's bodies were freezing to the touch and I shivered as I sat up.
As I looked around the quiet room, I realized that Jax wasn't beside me, and upon inspection of the alarm clock on Koda's side of the bed, I saw that it was only 7am.
