''Are you okay, baby?'' I asked once we were alone. She looked a little disappointed by the news.
''Sure'' She shrugged ''We should get to the Tower, I'm sure you're busy''
''Madelyn'' Jax went over and placed his hands on her hips ''If you're upset that you're not pregnant, we can just wait until next month and start our family''
''I'm fine'' She stepped away ''But about my medical side of things, maybe we should ask Noland''
''Ask him what?'' Jax asked, his voice low.
''About pregnancy in Phoenix's'' She responded cautiously ''He'd know if there was a test we could do to know for sure, and maybe there's a heat a Phoenix goes into as well''
Jax turned to me, as I chewed angrily on my tongue. I didn't want to ask that fool anything, but for once, Jax was calmer than me.
