KODA'S POV
I held Maddies hand while Jax covered her eyes and together we walked her into the beautifully smelling room, Julia had filled with gorgeous blue flowers.
She'd done an amazing job and I made a mental note to by her a thankyou gift.
"Are you ready?" Jax asked her
"Yes" She answered in her shy way but there was also a tone of excitement in her voice.
Jax removed his hands and Maddie blinked a few times before her eyes widened and she took in the display around the room.
"Wow" She smiled and covered her mouth with her hands before turning back us "You did this for me?"
The sound of confusion, delight and disbelief in her voice hurt me, it reminded me that until now, she'd had no one and those she did have in her life had never put in any effort for her.
