I nervously left my mates and went inside with Christa, after yesterday, I really didn't want to be without Koda's or Jaxsons protection, but I knew the Queen wouldn't hurt me and the twins had their duties to perform, so I could selfishly ask them to stay with me
Christa remained silent as we got into the elevator and I didn't know if I should try small talk.
In my old pack, I knew the rules, I was to remain silent unless spoken to, sometimes I'd mess up and open my mouth, but it would always result in a punishment of some kind and, more often then not, I'd be taken to the shed.
