for Ji-Woo is real, and we’re trying to help a vengeful spirit find peace.”

In-Soo’s anger flared, and he leaned in, his voice a hiss of accusation. “You’re jeopardizing the balance of

the supernatural realm, and you’re putting us all at risk. I should report you to the Elder Reaper.”

Min-Jae’s eyes narrowed, his voice resolute. “I won’t let that happen, In-Soo. Ji-Woo and I will find a way

to complete this mission without endangering our love or the balance.”

Back at the bookstore, Ji-Woo and Hye-Jin were still engrossed in their research, unaware of the looming

conflict in the supernatural realm. They had uncovered a snippet of information from the “Book of the

Dead” that hinted at a connection between Mi-Young’s past and Ji-Woo’s own family.

Ji-Woo read aloud, “It says here that the fate of Mi-Young is entwined with a powerful soul from a

lineage long forgotten. Could this be a reference to my own family?”Hye-Jin looked up from her research, her eyes wide with realization. “Ji-Woo, your family history is a

mystery, especially your older brother, Ji-Hoon. Do you think there’s a connection?”

Ji-Woo nodded, her heart pounding with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. “I need to talk to Ji-Hoon.
