Chapter 9: Cassiopeia

“Cassiopeia, anak.” (Cassiopeia, my child.) I moaned when I heard a sweet voice of a woman. She is calling someone.  “Anak, gumising ka,” (My child, wake up) repeated the voice.  I slowly opened my eyes and saw a woman leaning at me. She is smiling sweetly at me. It stumped me because the woman looks a lot like me. She also has deep brown eyes like me. Her lips are as red as blood, like mine. We have the same long and curly hair that is as black as night.  “W-Who are you?” I asked. My heartbeat beats fast. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.  She smiled again. She touched my cheeks and caressed them. “Patawarin mo ako anak kung wala ako sa iyong tabi.” (I am sorry if I am not with you.) My forehead wrinkled. What does she mean?
