NICHOLAS POV
I rushed to the police station, heart pounding in my chest. I could have dealt with all the threats they kept throwing at me, but I was just a man. Even I had a limit.
A blood-soaked letter at my doorstep was my breaking point. The fact that my so-called security detail could not intercept the sender, was a tremendous worry. I could not handle nonsense from the very people that killed Kent any longer. At least, not on my own.
The two guys Uncle Hunt assigned to guard me still had no idea what was happening, even till now. It suddenly became clear to me how easily I could die when the mafia decided that it was my time.
