While Frank was solving the Pickford case, I had my own problems. I thought I was going to devote twenty-four hours on knotting together all the loose ends of the Holdridge case. I started out that way. I drove over to the campus and went to Karen"s office. She was not there. I then found a pay phone and called her at her apartment. No one answered.
