Tossing the towel onto the stack of bags and saddle ware lying on the ground, the balding Decimus turned and looked at his friend. “Do you still have that amulet you found on the bedroom floor last night?” The wiry old legionnaire nodded and reaching inside his tunic, pulled out something leather and stone and tossed it to Decimus.
