The Dragon That Looked Like Godzilla

Chapter 14: Coming and Going Without a Trace

Because of his inability to fly for a long period, Godzilla quickly slid down to the ground, where a dozen or so elite Sahuagin were already on the ground, holding bone harpoons and waiting for him.

From the slight glow of spells emanating from the spears they were gripping, it could be seen that there were more than just sharp, strong, and amour-breaking statuses attached to the spears. Although it was only temporarily attached by the spell, it was enough to cause damage to Godzilla during the time the spell was in effect.

Godzilla wasn't sure what the young lady in his arms was really thinking, he was now busy covering a larger area with his Fire Breath.

"Water Shelter!" The Sahuagin Priestess who had not been seen for a long time finally showed up, and with a single strike, she dissolved most of the power of Godzilla's Dragon Breath. With the defence of Water's Shelter, although these Sahuagin elites would still be injured when facing the dragon's breath, they wouldn't immediately lose their ability to fight.

"Summon Water Elementals!" In addition to the Sahuagin Priestess, there were two more Sahuagin Elites by her side. The two water elementals slowly appeared from the summoning spell, and fierce water arrows flew from them towards Godzilla.

Seeing that he couldn't break the weapon for the time being, Godzilla had to throw his head hard, flinging the spear out along with Ruth. The other Sahuagin also poked and stabbed at Godzilla's body, except for the ones that stabbed at the important parts, the rest Godzilla didn't bother to defend.

The dragon wings instantly opened to their maximum, slapping the approaching Sahuagin one by one, and the dragon tail, which was longer than a normal dragon, also served a great purpose. With the inconvenience of his hands, the dragon's tail even became his best weapon.

A large portion of the Sahuagin that surrounded him was taken care of in a matter of moments. But Godzilla also paid a slight price - the various bone weapons that had been enchanted opened wounds of varying sizes on his body. Luckily, compared to his massive size, these were only superficial wounds. He wasn't afraid of the Sahuagin that continued to surround him, as long as they weren't high-level fighters like the Sahuagin leader, the damage they could do to him was extremely limited.

Besides the Sahuagin Priestesses, the two Water Elementals were the ones that really made him wary. Although the water arrows and water bombs sprayed out by the Water Elementals didn't seem to be very powerful, they were real magic damage. It could not be exempted from the hard-scale amour. However, it was fortunate that after Godzilla entered its young stage, its scale armor's defence against magic had improved a lot, so it didn't have to take the full damage of magic.

As for the other two Sahuagin Elites, other than summoning the Water Elemental which was quite impressive, they weren't even in Godzilla's consideration

The water arrows of the Water Elementals struck Godzilla's body, and the seemingly weak attack caused Godzilla's body to stumble. At this moment, the Sahuagin Fish Priestess's robes were moving without any wind, and it looked like she was preparing some powerful spells. Once the Sahuagin Priestess released her magic, Godzilla would be completely passive.

Not only did Flynn think that Godzilla was a red dragon, but even the Sahuagin Priestess thought so as well. Whether it was Guplu's description or Godzilla's two dragon breaths just now, all of them pointed to Godzilla's identity as a mutated red dragon - at least he also had the bloodline of a red dragon.

The two summoned Water Elementals only lasted a few seconds of effort before they were frozen into ice and returned to the Water Elemental Plane.

Ruth, the leader of the Sahuagin who was thrown off, was leading his men in a quick rush. Godzilla looked at the Sahuagin Priestess with some regret and leapt up again and flew out.

This was their second encounter, and overall Godzilla had a slight advantage. Godzilla had a premonition that after killing this Sahuagin Priestess, there would definitely be unexpected rewards waiting for him.

After two glides, Godzilla had already run out of the circle of Sahuagin. After a few landings, the Sahuagin could only watch Godzilla disappear without a trace.

This beach wasn't exactly small, and although there were quite a few Sahuagin of this tribe, they weren't able to take care of all the coastline, and more of them lived along the perimeter of the small river that flowed into the sea within Lunenden Valley. After Godzilla arrived here, he took a group of Kobolds far away from the Sahuagin's territory and looked in a different direction.

Because of the Sahuagin's great power, the living space of the original creatures within this beach was constantly compressed, so it seemed a bit crowded and chaotic. However, most of them were fighting alone, and when faced with the Kobolds who had formed a small group, they usually didn't try to beat them up.

Godzilla left them here to find a suitable place to station themselves, while he went to the Sahuagin tribe to find out what was going on. Godzilla learned that the Sahuagin were holding an evil god sacrifice through the dragon tribe's inheritance. He who had already taken the Sahuagin as imaginary enemies naturally wouldn't let the enemy develop, not to mention that he didn't want to keep wary of these Sahuagin.

By the time Godzilla found Doglu and the others, the Kobolds had already found a cave next to a cliff by the sea, as Godzilla had told them to do. It was a good place to hide, but the problem was that it was inhabited by two huge sea lions, and they were no match for them. But that's nothing compared to Godzilla - so the Kobolds get a good meal, and Godzilla quenches his appetite.
