Chapter 7 The Spider Monster

The excitement in Doglu's heart now was indescribable, he knew that he had finally found the opportunity to make the Real Dragon accept him. The Spider Demon Monster in the cave was startled, horrible hissing sounds kept ringing out, and the black mass of spiders surged out like a tidal wave. Just as Godzilla rushed to the entrance of the cave, the group of spider monsters also rushed out.

"Howl!" A roar full of dragon power rang out, but the spider monsters' bodies only gave a faintly imperceptible lurch that didn't cause a particularly large impact.

Godzilla took a look at the spider monster in front of him, and it was a bit hard to describe - as big as the size of a newly birthed wyrmling, its bare exoskeleton seemed to have become tougher, its entire body was covered in bristles, and on top of its body there was bulge after bulge, lumpy and connected, and it was covered in small holes. Now there was no more obstacle between Godzilla and the spider monsters. The two roared and collided, claws and limbs intertwined with each other, Godzilla's claws effortlessly stabbed into the body of the spider monster, a pull and a tear, and then ended one.

The spider monster's knobby limbs slashed and poked at Godzilla's body with little effect - his pink-coloured scale amour was even tougher than steel. However, the spider monster that pounced on him was not the only one. Spider monsters from the front and back surrounded Godzilla, and some even climbed onto his body from behind, their abnormally developed fangs poking and prodding incessantly.

Godzilla was also aroused by the desire to fight in his heart. The combat experience from the dragon's inheritance was continuously absorbed and improved by him during the battle. Although his appearance was not exactly the same as the dragon, there were always commonalities between the two, and some of the experience could be used with modifications.
