Amelia’s POV
Amelia's heart thrummed hard like the beat of the drums. She climbed out the window and when Amelia reached the ground, her legs felt really weak to the point where they almost gave out. Once landing her feet on the soft grass, she stumbled a bit. Amelia took a glance at her surroundings and observed that no one was around her in the area she was in.
Relief filled her as she darted towards the woods, running at full speed. The woods were located behind the mansion. It was a long way, but Amelia wasn’t going to give up. She ran full force, as fast as her weakened legs could drive her.
Come on Amelia. Run. You can do this. You can’t give up, not now.
All of the sudden Amelia heard shots behind her and her heart trembled with ultimate fear. Turning her head, there were a few pack members running after her. Some in wolf form, others in human form. Knowing that there was no possible way to out run, especially knowing that now she was human Amelia took her chance and continued to escape and looked ahead and ran deeper into the woods. Focusing on her escape.
She was just about to enter the mystic woods until a wolf jumped on her and shoved her to the ground. Amelia screamed to let go, and attempted to escape but the wolf snarled and kept her in her place with all four paws.
Amelia was thrashing around in continuous attempts to escape but the wolf took a place of her clothing in their snout and forcefully dragged Amelia down on her back to the mansion. Paying no attention to her please.
Tears streamed down Amelia’s face, knowing that it was no use fighting a pack wolf. Her strength was out weighed by a strong and trained pack wolf. No matter how hard Amelia fought, it did nothing to the wolf as it continued to drag her. As a human, her strength was not where near the strength of the werewolf dragging her.
Realizing that she was back at the mansion but the wolf dragged her downstairs, instead of going up to the second level of the mansion. As the wolf went towards the back corridor. They went deeper and deeper, it got darker and darker. The wolf stopped but hadn’t let go yet. The wolf was standing in front of a tall wooden door with two guards at the front. Once they saw Amelia and the wolf they opened the door and the wolf continued to drag Amelia inside.
Once inside the wolf let go of Amelia and the door closed with a bang. Closing her eyes tightly, Amelia sobbed and begged.
“Please. PLease let me go. Please.” She heard shifting, knowing the wolf shifted into their human form.
“If you come with us quietly, we won’t have to hurt you. And I, sure as hell don’t want to hurt you Amelia.”
Amelia let out a cry, she knew who this voice belonged to. Opening her eyes, Luca stood there with an angry expression. She tried to call away but that just made Luca more mad.
“Do you understand Amelia?” Luca demanded to know. He looked so scary and had a dangerous aura around him. As continued to glare at Amelia, she cowered little away.
“Please.” Amelia whispered. Luca bent down to her eye level and gave her an icy glare that held no emotion.
“Do you understand Amelia?” Luca snarked. Amelia couldn’t speak, thus nodded in return. Amelia began to stand up but hissed as soon as her back shot up in pain.
Suddenly the door opened behind them, and Amelia stood their frozen in fear, terrified of the sound. There were not only sounds of footsteps but also the rattling of metal chain, heavy chains. Shivering as her blood ran cold, Amelia balled her hands in fits and closed her eyes in terror.
The door banged shut and Amelia saw light underneath her closed eyelids. Slowly opening her eyelids, the first thing that Amelia saw was a white, shiny marble floor. Looking up, Amelia saw Alaster, standing next to Luca. He was also expressionless as he stared back at me.
Alaster took steps towards Amelia as he continued to stare at her. Amelia begged her with eyes to let her go but no vail. Instead, Amelia felt a hand grasp her arm, and then she was being pulled back. As she opened her mouth to scream, but no words came out. Her throat closed up as she saw what stood in front of her. Panic filled within her and she went numb.
Luca shoved her towards the chair and pushed her down roughly so that Amelia was sitting on it. Alaster walked past her until he was out of Amelia sight. A few seconds later Amelia felt something cold around her wrists.
“No!” Her screams echoed in the room. Amelia struggled to free herself from the chains but it was no use, the chains and ropes held her firmly in place. As struggled to free herself, the ropes began to scratch her skin until it was red and hot
“You are only hurting yourself. If you continue to move, your wrist will start bleeding from the ropes.” Luca said as he stood behind her. “I suggest that you stop moving”
“Please….”
Amelia began to hear noises behind the door. A moment later, there was a huge bang and the doors banged against the wall with great force. Flinching from such sounds Amelia was pushed back against the chair and her body trembling in panic.
Her body froze in terror as soon as she saw Enzo walk into the room with two more men. One of them closed the door as Enzo continued to walk towards Amelia.
He wore the same suit as the last she saw him, but this time he wore black leather gloves. Slowly Amelia brought her eyes up to his face, and let out a gasp when she saw his fierce glare. His eyes were burning with anger, but this time it was different. His eyes were golden with a tint of ruby red. At this point she knew that Enzo was not in control, it was his wolf but she had no idea what his name was, and it took Amelia’s breath away.
His dark presence loomed over her, as her weak body shook with fear. Amelia had no idea what Enzo planned to do, but she knew that it was not going to be good. The tiny hair on her neck began to stand up and her skin began to itch.
Enzo stood in front of Amelia, his presence dominating her in every way. He bent down to her eye level as she continued to whimper for herself to be freed. This time, it wasn't Enzo but his wolf.
As Amelia stared back into Enzo wolf had golden eyes and his stare was raging with fire. She saw that his eyes cracked with fury, his face clenched and jew twitched.
Amelia knew that the Alpha wolf standing in front of her was ruthless, and she could see why he was known for Alpha of all Alphas. He was a truely a killer – a monster of no mercy and she always heard out from Victor and Argus.
And now, here she was trapped, in the dungeon in front of the alpha who all feared.
Amelia's heart was hammering so hard that she felt it would crawl up her throat and out her mouth. Her fingernails dug into her pains giving her immense pain. The feeling of pain gave her the reassurance that she was still alive, breathing.
But, how long will this last?
