Chrissy's POV

Finally, school has ended I was starting to lose focus in my last class. "Hey, you sure your coming later?" Nick said for the fourth time today. "Ask one more time and I swear to god I'll change my mind" I said giving him a death glance which made him throw his hands up in defeat. We walked to the school exits out into the parking area where Delan and the other guys were waiting for us. "Oh good, you two are finally here lets go I've got things to do to get ready for tonight" Sammy said jumping down from the wall which their cars were parked by. "Things like what? gathering a bunch of stupid girls who will do anything you tell them to?" I said to him crossing my arms over my chest.

 "Well...yea and getting drinks and other things" he said rubbing his chin and smirking at me, oh god I hate this guy's cocky attitude. "Alright you two enough, lets head home see you guys later" Nick said hopping into his car starting up the engine. "See you later Chrissy" he said before driving off, "Your gonna hang out with us?" Jackson asked and I nodded in response  "oh that's a first" he said with surprised eyes. "Well there is a first for everything isn't there...anyways see you guys later" I said waving them goodbye as I walked away. "I'll pick you up at eight!" I heard Delan shouted behind me which I just waved my hand in the air to let him know I heard him and made my way home.

Making sure to lock the door behind me, I made my way to my room throwing myself on the bed sighing. Let me text mom that I'll be going over by Nick's house tonight before I forget just to avid the lecture when I get back besides I don't want her worrying about me being alone. Mom took the twin's to visit our grandparents over in the city close by this small town and of course James went along, it's not like he had a choice anyway...my mom's parents still had their doubts about him so he had  to stay on their good side. The ringtone of my phone suddenly pulled me from my thoughts, I paused for a few seconds listening to the song that played. I've always loved hearing this song I even purposely missed calls just to listen to it, it's I know what you did last summer by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

 I picked up the phone to see who it was, it better not be Nick it's way too early to be asking me the same damn question he's been asking all day. It's mom I guess she has seen my message. "Hello mom" I greeted her, I could hear the twin's and my grandmother's voice in the background. "Hey Chrissy, how's it going?" she asked in a slightly loud tone as if trying to hear herself over all the noise. "Everything's alright mom just a normal day as usual, how's everyone doing?" I asked her missing them already.

 "Everyone's doing great honey, make sure to eat before going to Nick's or get something there which ever you choose just make sure to eat alright?" she said and it's like I could see her concerned face, I'm not one to eat much which worried her at time. "Yes mom I will I promise" I told her not wanting her to worry. "Alright sweetie, I got to go now you know how these kids get when they have had too much sugar...I love you and keep safe ok..." she said. "Alright mom, say hello to granddad and grandma for me...I love you too and don't worry I'll be fine" I said assuring her before saying goodbye then ended the call. I set the alarm on my phone to wake me up in the next two hours so I could get ready on time knowing I may get lazy and not bother to go anywhere, throwing my phone down beside me I closed my eyes as my body washes away with the waves of sleep.

I woke up startled by the loud ringing of my phone alarming in my ears, damn that thing can be  pretty loud. Turning it off I sluggishly got up and walked to the bathroom  and got in the shower. After showering I brushed my teeth then pulled my hair up in a messy bun and wrapped myself in a towel, making my way back to my room I stopped in my tracks at hearing a knock at the door. I turned on my heels skipping down the stairs making my way to the door "who is it?" yelled loud enough so that who ever it was could hear me behind the door. "It's me" I heard Delan's voice yelled back, he's early I thought to myself as I opened the door. "Your early" I said looking at him, he took a few seconds to respond and I followed where his eyes were staring. "What the hell! stop looking!" I yelled at him taking a step back to slam the door but he stopped it before I could. "Sorry, sorry I couldn't help it" he said grinning at me. "Well you don't sound nor look sorry with that stupid grin on your face" I snapped at him turning to walk away but quickly stepped inside grabbing my arm and closed the door behind him. 

"Do you know how cute you look when your upset" he said pulling me closer to him wrapping an arm around my waist and the other caressing my cheek "sorry if I can't help staring at the girl I want, now calm down cupcake and go get dressed we got to go a little earlier than planned...I need to drop somethings off by my mother's office before heading to Nick's alright?" he said looking me in the eyes and I felt as if I couldn't look away or it's the knots in my stomach from shock prevented me from moving or saying a word. I nodded in response which made him smile and let go of me then made his way to sofa. "I'll wait here" he said as he sat down, I then made a U  turn and quickly made my way up the stairs to my room I could feel his stare burning into the skin of my back. I quickly entered my room making sure to lock my door behind me, still a bit shocked feeling as if I'm in a trance I got dressed in a floral black dress and black flats then made my way back down to the living room where he was waiting. "Aren't you a gorgeous lil thing" he said standing up then walked over to me. "Yea whatever let's go" I said finally coming back to my senses as I opened the door. "That's no way to take a compliment cupcake" he said now standing in front of me. "Thank you" I muttered under my breath motioning him to get out.

"What's that? I can't hear you" he said grinning which made me want to slap the grin right off him face.

"Thank you, now can we go" I said taking a deep breath and putting a smile on my face. "Now that's better" he said stepping outside as I do the same closing the door behind me and putting the key inside my purse. 

He held my hand as soon as  he saw that I had closed my purse  "You need to relax and let go of that anger you have stored up inside you young lady" he said giving me a serious look. "I'm not angry, who told you that?" 

"I can tell by your actions and the way you talk" he responded but before I could say anything his phone rang, taking it from his pocket he answered "Hello...yes mom I'm on my way" I hear him say before putting his phone back into his pocket. He pulled me with him to his car then opened the passenger door for me to get in. He then jogged over to the driver's side and got in "alright...lets go cupcake" he said before driving off.
