To everyone’s joy, Apollo was released from hospital in time for Christmas, and Tiger and Lazlo insisted that the whole family come to stay with them during the holidays. Nell worried about being an imposition but admitted to Tiger that she was relieved in some ways. “As long as you’re sure we won’t be too much.”
Tiger hugged her tightly. “I’m very, very sure. We’re a family and with everything that’s happened, we need to be together.”
“We won’t be imposing on the newlyweds?”
Tiger rolled her eyes. “Nonsense. Besides… the walls are pretty thick here.” She grinned as Nell protested, laughing.
