Chapter Five – Glory Box
The Island, San Juan Islands, Washington State
Tiger was determined that the news of Grant Waller’s release would not affect the new life she had been building here. Two days later, she reported for her first morning’s work at the coffee house and was soon caught up with the training. Bella, the barista who was leaving for college, was as sweet as Sarah but also a hard taskmaster and so knowledgeable about her role that Tiger’s head was spinning by the end of her first shift.
